In addition to the University’s required application materials, applicants should review the information below for additional expectations or application requirements. GRE – NOT Required Admission into the program is a competitive process. Requirements for admission include the following: a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and graduation from a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Dental Association; satisfactory academic undergraduate record (B average or better); successful completion of the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination; and current dental hygiene licensure in a least one state Statement of Professional and Research Interests: Should discuss educational, research, work, or personal experience relevant to your proposed plan of study and professional goals. *Only in unusual circumstances and after consultation with the program are other admission terms considered. **Preference will be given to applications submitted to The Graduate School at UNC-Chapel Hill by February 14, 2023. |
