Statement of Purpose: Your required statement of purpose should be an essay of at least one page explaining your interest in graduate study in Mathematics and your future professional goals. Supplemental Information: Please see the Mathematics website https://math.unc.edu/apply/, fill out the Supplemental Application Form, and upload the completed form in your online application. *Review of applications begins in late December. Applications received after December 13th will be considered if space and funding permit. Only in unusual circumstances and after consultation with the director of graduate studies is admission for other semesters considered.
