In addition to the University’s required application materials, applicants should review the information below for additional expectations or application requirements. At least two Letters of Recommendation from faculty members familiar with your academic ability are strongly preferred but not required. For applicants with substantial work experience after college, letters from individuals who can describe applicant’s ability to be successful in doctoral level work may be substituted. Statement of Purpose: Applicants should state their specific policy field of interest, describe their motivation and explain the fit with the department’s areas of faculty expertise. *Only in unusual circumstances and after consultation with the program are other admission terms considered. |
