Letters of Recommendation | 3 | Each applicant should submit 3 letters of recommendation. At least one letter of recommendation should be from the applicant’s current or most recent supervisor. Each recommender should also complete a rating form for the applicant. Each letter should address the following: 1. Your potential/ability as a leader based on your knowledge and skills; 2. Your character as it relates to the dispositions for leadership; and 3. Your ability to balance professional responsibilities with graduate level coursework |

Other Requirements | Other Requirements In addition to the University’s required application materials, applicants should review the information below for additional expectations or application requirements.
Prospective applicants must hold a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited college or university and provide official transcripts of all undergraduate study. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required. Most M.S.A. candidates do not have administrative experience, nor have they completed prior graduate study in educational administration. Admission is competitive. Successful applicants typically are currently employed, have a minimum of three years of school-based professional experience and possess a state license/certification. A statement of purpose is also required (1-2 pages in length.) All application materials including letters of recommendation and matched official test scores (if required), must be received by the application deadline. Applications that are incomplete after the deadline will NOT be reviewed for admission. All application materials are submitted electronically. Applicants are responsible for monitoring their application status and ensuring their application, including letters of recommendation and official test scores (if required), is complete by the application deadline. Failure to do so will result in your application not being reviewed for admission. MSA applicants must also participate in an interview as part of the application process. |
