Other Requirements In addition to the University’s required application materials, applicants should review the information below for additional expectations or application requirements.

  1. A short statement of purpose (500 words) in which you explain why you wish to enroll in the TAM Program. Please tell us at which overseas sites you would like to study and why? Please also briefly discuss your research interests.
  2. A 10-page writing sample in English.  Applicants usually submit a paper they have written for coursework;
  3. A CV;
  4. The one-page TAM application which can be found on the TAM website: https://tam.unc.edu/apply/ and filled out, and uploaded to your application.

*Only in unusual circumstances and after consultation with the program are other admission terms considered.
